Feed A Family Homeless Prevention Program
Halifax Urban Ministries provides a Feed-a-Family Bag of food that feeds a family of four (4) approximately seven to ten meals per week. In addition to non-perishable foods, we include frozen meat and sometimes fresh produce to your package which has increased the nutrition and number of meals you can prepare.
To receive food a household or individual must present a photo identification card, current rent receipt or utility bill within the past 30 days, Food Stamp-SNAP status letter and social security cards for ALL household members.
Feed-a-Family Bags are served once per month to each family.
