The Hope Place Family Shelter – Daytona Beach, Florida

Hope Place Family Shelter Room

Your support can make a real difference in people’s lives. The largest, fastest growing group of homeless people are families with children, comprising 40% of the homeless, mostly with single mother heads of household.

One mother who lived in the shelter with her children for several months receiving case management, child care & job search assistance, a safe place to sleep & food to feed her 3 children, said as they transitioned to independent living with a job in hand “I never met the person that sponsored my family, without the person knowing me they helped me.  I hope they will help another family.  They sure helped us.”
